What a New Sod Lawn Looks Like Once Rooted
All four varieties knit in within two to three weeks of install with proper watering. Deep, infrequent watering builds stronger roots than daily sprinkler runs.
Spring and fall are the best install windows for North Louisiana. Summer installs work too, but require twice-daily watering for the first two weeks. Winter installs slow down rooting but still take if the ground stays unfrozen.
